Natania Garlic Farm is a small family farm located in the heart of Central Wisconsin.
Our hardneck garlic seed and culinary garlic is grown naturally using sustainable farming practices without the use of chemical pesticides, herbicides or synthetic fertilizers.
Mulching our garlic field suppresses weeds and maintains moisture. We spend many hours hand weeding to keep our field clean. Our soil is tested and amended to optimize soil and plant health. Both cover crops and crop rotation are utilized to improve soil structure and fertility for optimal garlic quality. Additionally these sustainable practices suppress weeds, diseases and pests.
The culmination of these practices allows us to provide you, our customers, with the highest quality product for your garlic seed and culinary use.
We are Jeff and Michelle Gaetz, the owners and operators of Natania Garlic Farm here in Central Wisconsin. We have owned and operated this 80-acre family-owned farm for the past 30 years. While we have had other pursuits over the years, our heart has always been grounded in operating with natural and sustainable agriculture practices in mind. We understand how important it is, in today’s mass production mindset, to know what you are eating and feeding those that you care about, as well as where it came from. We take pride in sharing with you and your family members healthy, high quality and natural garlic choices for your dinner table or garden.
We are personally involved in each step of our garlic product’s growing process. From the early stages of preparing the garlic to be planted, hand planting each clove, mulching to protect it through the cold winder temperatures, countless hours of hand-weeding and then of course the harvesting of both the garlic scape and bulb; working to ensure optimal drying conditions.
We are confident that you will enjoy eating or planting our garlic as much as we do and are excited to become a part of your family’s dinner table.
